Pump Replacement Parts

When the OEM impeller is back-ordered for months — or the pump maker is gone entirely — we reproduce the part from your worn sample. Impellers, wear rings, shafts, seal carriers. No drawing needed, MOQ 1.

The Pump Spares Problem

Pumps wear by design — impellers erode, wear rings open up, shaft journals score. The OEM spares route works until it doesn't: the pump is an older model and parts are discontinued; the manufacturer was acquired and the spares line dropped; the quoted lead time is 16 weeks and the process can't wait; or the OEM price for a simple machined ring is ten times what it should be.

We reproduce pump parts from the worn original — measured on CMM, restored to design geometry, manufactured in the original material or an upgrade.

Turbine impeller reproduced by 5-axis CNC machining — matched to the worn original for a discontinued industrial pump. Stainless steel, balanced to ISO G2.5.

Pump Parts We Reproduce

Impellers

Open and closed centrifugal — vane profile and hydraulic geometry restored from the worn original.

Wear rings

Bore and OD to original clearance; bronze or coated upgrades for abrasive service.

Pump shafts

All journals, keyways, threads and impeller seats to bearing-fit tolerance.

Seal carriers

Pilot bore, face run-out and gland pattern reproduced for mechanical seal fit.

Bearing housings

Bearing bores, seal grooves, vents and drains to original spec.

Casing rings & diffusers

Hydraulic geometry matched to the impeller for original performance.

Gear pump rotors

Matched rotor pairs reproduced to maintain displacement.

Couplings & sleeves

Shaft couplings, spacers and taper sleeves to OEM fit. Motor adapter rings when the new motor doesn’t match the old mount.

Replace the wear ring with the impeller. A new impeller running against a worn ring still leaks internally — head and efficiency stay low. A matched set reproduced together restores original clearance and original performance. We quote both as a set by default.

How It Works

  • Send the worn part — or photos with a known dimension if shipping isn't practical. Tell us the fluid and operating speed.
  • We measure and rebuild the CAD — free, restored to design geometry, not the worn state. See how pump RE works.
  • You approve, we manufacture — machined or cast, balanced where speed requires, inspected on CMM.
  • Order spares in the same run — second and third pieces cost a fraction of the first.

Want the full background first? Our guide to replacing a discontinued or obsolete pump part walks through the options — old stock, 3D-printed stop-gaps, and remanufacturing — and when each makes sense.

Pump Parts We Have Made

Recent pump replacement work — centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, hydraulic units and process pumps across a range of industries:

5-axis CNC machined steel turbine impeller pump replacement by EKINSUN
5-axis steel impeller — 7-vane, Ø210mm, reproduced from a failed OEM part with no drawing. 3D scanned from the original.
Precision CNC machined hydraulic valve body replacement by EKINSUN Guangdong
Hydraulic valve body — porting dimensions measured from the original. Tested for internal leak before shipping.
Deep-hole precision pump shafts CNC turned in stainless steel by EKINSUN
Pump shafts in 316L — turned to bearing fit (h6), keyway slotted, surface ground. Pair for a twin-pump rebuild.

When the Pump Can't Wait for the OEM

The value this page offers is one shortened number — the days between a dead pump and a working one. We reproduce the impeller, wear ring or shaft from your worn part rather than wait on a 16-week catalogue line, so by the time people call us the OEM route has usually already let them down: model too old, spares line dropped in an acquisition, lead time that would idle the process for a quarter. Here is who they are and what they hand us.

// Plant / Maintenance Engineer

"The process pump is down and the OEM impeller is 16 weeks out — I can't idle the line that long"

Ship us the worn impeller. We CMM the vane profile, restore it to design geometry rather than its eroded state, and turn a new one — usually 2–3 weeks, balanced to ISO G2.5. The matching wear ring gets quoted in the same run, so the running clearance comes back to original instead of part-new, part-worn.

// Reliability / Rotating Equipment Engineer

"This impeller erodes every eight months — I don't want the same cast iron back in there"

Then we change the metallurgy and leave the geometry alone. Chrome iron or a hard-faced surface for slurry, duplex for seawater, 316L where chloride pitted the original. The hydraulic shape stays identical; what changes is how long it survives — and we say up front what the upgrade actually buys.

// MRO / Procurement Manager

"I've a list of legacy pump spares nobody will quote as a package — I want one source"

Send the list with samples. We reproduce impellers, rings, shafts and seal carriers to form-fit-function, supply mill certs, and keep every CAD on file so the reorder is a one-line email. Mixed batches are quoted together, and once quantities climb the unit price drops to tiered rates.

// Pump Rebuilder / Service Shop

"I rebuild pumps for clients and need parts I can re-supply — matched sets, not random one-offs"

We sit behind you as the machine shop: matched impeller-and-ring sets, shafts cut to bearing fit, casing rings sized to the impeller. Everything repeatable from saved CAD, certs on request — and we flag the standard bearings and seals so you only pay us to make what is genuinely custom.

// OEM Pump Builder / Skid Packager

"A sub-supplier's component went obsolete mid-build and I can't redesign the whole skid around it"

We reproduce the obsolete part to your drawing or sample so the skid build carries on without a redesign — impeller, adapter, mounting ring, whatever the sub-supplier dropped. Repeat-buildable from saved CAD, with certs for your package documentation. The design stays frozen and the project stays on schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

Usually yes, significantly. A reproduced impeller from your worn sample is typically 2–3 weeks including CAD reconstruction and your approval. Send photos for a quote within 24 hours and we confirm the timeline for your specific part.

Often yes. If the original wore quickly — abrasive fluid eating cast iron, chloride pitting on 316 — we upgrade the material: chrome iron for slurry, duplex for seawater, hard-coated surfaces for abrasion. Same geometry, longer life.

No. We work from the physical part, not from catalogues. The model number helps for context but the worn part itself — or photos with a known dimension — is what we actually need.

Yes, and we recommend it. Pump efficiency depends on the impeller-to-ring clearance. Replacing both as a matched set restores the pump's original performance rather than running a new impeller against a worn ring.

Yes. Impellers for higher-speed pumps are dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 G2.5 (or the grade you specify) before shipping, and we report the residual unbalance. Tell us the operating speed and we set the balance grade to match — important for impellers above roughly 1,500 rpm.

The first piece carries the one-time CAD reconstruction and setup; pieces two and three in the same run cost a fraction of that, and larger batches drop to tiered pricing. Send the worn part or photos and we return a quote with the 1-piece, 3–10 and 10+ prices all laid out — within 24 hours, no obligation.
